This Valentine’s Day, Love Yourself First
“Loving ourselves works miracles in our lives” Louise Hay.
Valentine’s Day is an interesting time of the year for all of us. It’s that time of year when we seek validation from someone else to give us that feeling of love or completeness, to define our worthiness for love.
Some of us are really happy yet some of us feel lonely and upset. Whatever your mood or situation, its actually the perfect time to love yourself.
The problem we often have is that we don’t love ourselves. So Claire’s focus today is about not looking outward for love, but to look inward and give yourself the validation on your own that you are worthy and lovable.
Claire has devised a simple fun exercise for you to try out this week. So grab some paper and a pen and press play on our video…
We’re making this day all about self-love and self-worth. We’re here to help you to focus on all the incredible things that our bodies can do that we often take for granted.
We’re all guilty of giving out bodies a hard time occasionally, but it’s time to stop. We are amazing and our bodies are a remarkable gift. How can we be negative about something that is working so hard to keep us alive?
Let’s celebrate you and your body and all the wonderful things that it can do and achieve day in and day out.
After a while, the way you think and feel about your body will change. You will start to shift your focus to the positive and wondrous things that you are capable of, instead of being drawn to your perceived ‘negatives’ or limitations.
Show yourself love, show yourself kindness, gratitude and fascination, not just for Valentine’s Day, but every day. Our bodies are our one true home, doing everything to keep us alive. It’s time for us to shower ourselves with the love that we deserve.
So let’s start right now – what do you love most about your body?
Happy Valentines Day – you are amazing! Remember that…
