Our Team

Raw Horizons Wellbeing Academy was established by Dr Claire Maguire and Andrea Maguire, a step-daughter and step-mother team to provide small exclusive training courses specialising in Wellbeing Coach Training. Developed and taught personally by Claire and Andrea, our exclusive accredited training courses ensure are given their full attention, expertise and encouragement.

Dr Claire Maguire

Claire is passionate about life coaching and its benefits. With her emphasis on Wellbeing Coaching, she specialises in training coaches of exceptional quality and integrity in this rapidly growing supportive arena.

She leads by example, also running her successful private life coaching practice, creating new wellness programmes plus directing the renowned Raw Horizons residential wellbeing retreat venue.

Andrea Maguire

Whilst Claire is the tour-de-force behind Raw Horizons Academy, Andrea also contributes to the curriculum in her business related fields of expertise.

Andrea has many years of working in private enterprise, from starting her own IT/website design business over 20 years ago to consulting for luxury brands. Her background as an engineer means she enjoys all the technical aspects.

Of course Claire and Andrea couldn’t have done all of this alone so read on to meet the rest of our dedicated team

With a professional background in solutions journalism and international literary events, Julia brings her diverse writing skills to the role. Her interest in wellbeing and passion for clear communication enable her to create informative, wide-ranging, and thoroughly researched content.

Julia's literary consultancy is founded on 13 years of professional writing, editing, and translation experience.

Michael Maguire

With a background in business and many years’ experience in information technology, ecommerce and finance, Michael brings a wealth of knowledge regarding website construction and corporate financial requirements.

His passion for IT and all things 'geeky' makes him a natural choice to develop and maintain our websites. His experience also makes him ideal for managing our financial affairs.

Michelle Kelly

Michelle is the invaluable back-bone of our office organisation. As well as helping out with whatever's needed, she ensures all correspondence is promptly answered and that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Her background in hospitality together with her personal interest in yoga, healthy eating and wellness, give her the perfect understanding of how to make everything just right.
