The Independent Pathway is approved under the Association for Coaching CPD Hours Scheme, validating the training as high-quality professional development.

On completion, you will receive:

  • Two Certificates: A Raw Horizons Certificate of Health and Wellbeing Coaching and a certificate for your 100 approved CPD hours from the Association for Coaching.
  • Professional Assurance: Certification that meets recognised standards for ongoing learning.

CPD hours gained through this programme may also contribute towards the CPD requirements for Association for Coaching accreditation, should you choose to pursue this in the future.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. If you wish to work as a health and wellbeing coach in the NHS, it is a mandatory requirement to have completed a training course that is accredited by the Personalised Care Institute (PCI).

Our Live 5-day virtual classroom is PCI-accredited and meets this standard.

We make the path to professional practice as simple as possible. For those taking our Live or Hybrid paths, the included Association for Coaching membership serves as a ‘bridge’ to professional indemnity insurance by providing access to providers who understand the high standards of your training.

Because our Live 5-day and Hybrid programmes include Membership with the Association for Coaching (AC), you are eligible for preferential insurance rates.

The Self-Study training provides CPD points for people that are adding these skills to their existing profession and who, therefore, do not typically need new insurance.

The main difference between the two formats—and the resulting certification levels—is that there is no live teaching component to the self-study format course.

To receive full course accreditation from the PCI and AC, the training must include interactive, live delivery.

Because the Self-Study course is designed for independent learning, it is instead validated under the Association for Coaching CPD Hours Scheme, providing 100 hours of recognised professional development.

The number of certificates you receive depends on your chosen pathway:

Immersive & Integrative Pathways: Upon graduation, you will receive three certificates: one from Raw Horizons Academy, one endorsed by the Association for Coaching (AC), and one recognised by the Personalised Care Institute (PCI).

Independent Pathway (Self-Study): Upon completion, you will receive two certificates: a Raw Horizons Certificate of Health and Wellbeing Coaching and a certificate for your 100 approved CPD hours from the Association for Coaching.
