Retreat Announcement – Our Heartfelt Thanks

As the UK makes its way out of lockdown, you may be thinking about coming on a wellbeing retreat with us here at Raw Horizons. Whilst we acknowledge that a retreat would be a wonderful experience, the pandemic has redirected our expertise.

For the past year Raw Horizons has run online training courses via our Raw Horizons Wellbeing Academy, teaching people to become certified wellbeing coaches. This has been a very rewarding and effective way for us to deliver our wealth of wellbeing knowledge to support people around the world during this difficult time.

We’ve updated our training course, written a very comprehensive manual plus realised how interactive Zoom can be and just how intimate a learning environment it is.

The NHS is now acknowledging the importance of wellbeing in the role of patient care. As a result, we applied for our Wellbeing Coach Training course to be recognised and accredited by the newly formed NHS Personalised Care Institute. We are pleased to confirm our application was successful and that we were one of the first to be granted this accreditation. This accreditation recognises that our course is of the highest standard.

With all this going on, we have made the decision to not re-open for residential retreats.

This was not an easy decision to make as running retreats has been our way of life for the last decade and we have met so many amazing and wonderful people, had incredible experiences and witnessed profound breakthroughs. It has been an absolute pleasure to have hosted and nurtured so many people.

Our focus now is on running our online Wellbeing Coach Training courses to continue supporting communities now and for the future.

If this is of interest, you can find out more about our course modules here.

However, with all that said, I do still run online self-development programmes and one-day virtual retreats. I am also considering holding in-person retreats later in the year (although not at Split Farthing Hall), so please let me know if you would like to join me.

We will announce our upcoming events and share wellbeing support through our newsletter plus we are active on social media.

It would be wonderful for our paths to cross in some fashion in the future.

Thank you for being a valued member of our community.

Best wishes,
Claire x
