I am not teaching you to be a yin yoga teacher in this section, but to make you aware that yin yoga is very relaxing.
Yin yoga releases the fascia in your body which can become tight due to stress or being sedentary.
It could be useful for your client to go to a yin yoga class to learn some positions which help them unwind.
On a personal note, the poses I found particularly useful for myself when I was waking up in the middle of the night were:
I did these whilst in bed so I was warm and cosy and they helped me to fall back asleep effortlessly.
Also resting your legs up against the wall (or headboard of the bed) can be very relaxing.
Always check in with your client to see if they found any benefit for their sleep.
