This is exploring what could be done to help have better sleep without having to commit to any ideas generated. There are lots of options in this course (bedroom environment, bedtime routine, morning routine, relaxation tools) which you can delve into with your client. What you decide upon will be based upon the goals set and reality your client finds themselves in and what needs to be changed.
I want us to think about the O also being OVERWHELM! This is not part of the GROW model but with so many options there could be a tendency to think everything has to be put into place to create good sleep. This is not true. Your client may only need a few tweaks here and there. We want to ensure your client doesn’t get into a place of overwhelm trying to do to much at the same time as it could result in nothing being achieved.
