Sleep debt is when we are not getting enough sleep due to not being able to get the required amount at night. This builds up over time with people then trying to make up the sleep debt by sleeping in at weekends (if they don’t sleep enough over a working week). However, this creates more problems over time as it keeps your client out of sync and constantly tired through the week.
What to Ask Your Client
- Do you often feel like you don’t get enough sleep?
- Do you try and make up for the lack of sleep on days off?
- Can we look into prioritising the importance of sleep everyday?
