Here are some ideas for you to use with your client, although there are more ideas within the Sleep Well: Relaxation Tools. Remember you are a resource for your client and can point them in the direction of what is available. You can also do some of the relaxation techniques within the session with your client. Relaxation helps your client to self-regulate and soothe their nervous system. Encourage your client to practice techniques when they are not anxious, stressed or worried about not sleeping well so they can easily use them when sleep is elusive.
