Are there small little things you can do first thing in the morning thing which set you up for the day? These are tasks which don’t take very long but can be ticked off a to-do list and make you feel good for getting something done rather than a chore looming over your head all day.

Examples:

  • Emptying the dishwasher
  • Making the bed
  • Watering the plants

It’s not about getting into work productive mode or blocking out deep work time or creating. Instead it’s small things which can be done to start your day well.
