About Lesson
Pets can be a wonderful addition to family life, a companion for someone on their own and are a great pleasure.
Yet, pets can also interfere with our sleep by:
- Sleeping in the same bed and their movement (or pet snoring) disturbs your sleep.
- Your pet wakes early and you haven’t factored that into your sleeping time.
- Your pet gets ill and needs attention through the night.
- If your pet is a hunter and they bring their catch to you and drop it in the bed.
- Your pet starts making a noise in the middle of the night eg barking or running around.
Some of the above could also be applicable to children 😁
What to Ask Your Client
- Tell me about your pet and their sleeping behaviour?
- How does this affect you?
- What can you do to help your pet sleep better?
- Can you change where they sleep (if sleeping in the bed is an issue)?
- Do you need to get help from a pet trainer?
I am in no way telling people to get rid of their pets.
