About Lesson

Pets can be a wonderful addition to family life, a companion for someone on their own and are a great pleasure.

Yet, pets can also interfere with our sleep by:

  • Sleeping in the same bed and their movement (or pet snoring) disturbs your sleep.
  • Your pet wakes early and you haven’t factored that into your sleeping time.
  • Your pet gets ill and needs attention through the night.
  • If your pet is a hunter and they bring their catch to you and drop it in the bed.
  • Your pet starts making a noise in the middle of the night eg barking or running around.

Some of the above could also be applicable to children 😁

What to Ask Your Client

  • Tell me about your pet and their sleeping behaviour?
  • How does this affect you?
  • What can you do to help your pet sleep better?
  • Can you change where they sleep (if sleeping in the bed is an issue)?
  • Do you need to get help from a pet trainer?

I am in no way telling people to get rid of their pets.
