Another person in your bed can create sleep disturbances due to various reasons such as they are tossing and turning, snoring, generating heat, going to the toilet and/or have different sleep patterns.

If your clients sleep disturbance is due to a partner, caution does need to be advised as you could be overstepping boundaries and interferring with a relationship. Also we want to avoid blame and your client criticising their partner. It is a gentle discussion that a couple needs to have to find an soltuion together.

What to Ask Your Client

  • Does someone share the bed with you and does that create an issue for you?
  • What are those issues?
  • How do you think you could address this in a kind way?
  • What are you willing to change and do to make a more harmonious bedtime for you both? You can look at suggestion in bedroom enviroment and some of the suggestions in the video.
