About Lesson

The technique:

  • Relax the muscles in your face including the tongue, your jaw and muscles around the eyes. You are relaxing the entire face.
  • Drop your shoulders down as far as they can go
  • Relaxing and dropping your upper and lower arm one side at a time
  • Breathing in, breathing out
  • Relaxing the chest
  • Followed by your legs
  • Relaxing the thighs and working down to your toes
  • Your whole body is relaxed, from head to toe
  • Spend the next 10 seconds clearing your mind
  • Think about one of the following images:
    Laying in a canoe on a calm lake with nothing but clear blue sky above you
    Laying in a black velvet hammock in a pitch black room
  • Then for 10 seconds say to yourself: Don’t think, don’t think, don’t think

And now you are asleep.
