About Lesson
If normal sleep is 7-8 hours, then the body is naturally going to be dehydrated upon waking, as fluids are lost through respiration. This will be made worse by night sweats, mouth breathing as more water vapour is exhaled, if you’ve exercised late and not rehydrated (although please note, it’s not encouraged to do high intensity sweaty exercise late in the evening if you want good sleep!) and alcohol consumption as it causes dehydration.
Therefore, a glass of water upon waking, before tea or coffee, is a great start to the day.
