A body scan is a mindfulness technique where we scan our body for different sensations. Through doing a body scan we allow the body to relax.
Be aware of resistance to this technique as outlined in the video.
You don’t have to deliver a body scan but direct your client to one you like or ask your client to find one which they resonate with. However, talk through with your client what a body scan is, what sensations could arise and make an enquiry as to what that sensation could mean.
